Periodontal Endoscope
The periodontal endoscope (i.e. perioscope) is used to treat gum infections, and to avoid surgery that would otherwise be necessary at a specialist office. A tiny microfiber camera is used during gum therapy, displayed on a monitor, to locate the irritants and foreign bodies at the source of the infection. Our hygienists have specialty training to offer this option and have been ecstatic about the results they've seen, saving teeth and improving overall body health without the need for more costly procedures and going to additional offices.
